Beijing Huijia Vocational College, approved by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality in May — and filed with the Ministry of Education, is a full-time private general higher vocational college under the supervision of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. It holds the qualification for national unified enrollment within the national higher education program.
Located in Changping Park of Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park in Beijing, the college is backed by Longfeng Mountain to the north, adjacent to the Beijing-Miyun Diversion Canal to the south, connected to the Beijing-Tibet Expressway to the west, and close to Baifuquan Wetland Park—the largest urban park in Beijing—to the east. With beautiful scenery of mountains and waters, it enjoys convenient transportation. Covering an area of 367 mu and with a building area of — square meters, the college boasts first-class teaching and living facilities on campus, including high-standard lecture halls, professional practice and training rooms, a golf driving range, an air-supported membrane swimming pool, an air-supported membrane ice hockey rink, an equestrian training ground, a tennis training court, an aviation simulation cabin, a library, a gymnasium, an athletics stadium, a football field, basketball courts, canteens, and dormitories.
Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Novelty, High Grade, and Internationalization" and the school-running tenet of "Survive by Quality, Develop by Characteristics, and Thrive by Innovation", the college has set up five secondary colleges: the School of Education, the School of Nursing and Health Care, the School of International Film and Television Arts, the School of Artificial Intelligence Engineers, and the School of Digital Economy and Aviation Services. It also has two centers: the International Cooperation and Development Center and the General Education Center. The college has formed five major professional categories: "Preschool Education, Health Care and Nursing, Film and Television Arts, Network Technology, and Digital Economy". Each major highlights the vocational and international characteristics of talent training, aiming to cultivate high-quality technical professionals with vocational competence and craftsmanship who can meet the development needs of the new economy, new formats, and new technologies.
Over the past more than 20 years since its establishment, the college has fully implemented the Party's educational policy, fulfilled the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, deepened teaching reforms, and continuously pursued innovation, achieving remarkable results in talent cultivation.
