Lijiang Culture and Tourism College (formerly Yunnan University College of Tourism and Culture) is located in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, which enjoys three crowns of World Cultural Heritage, World Natural Heritage, and World Memory Heritage.
Founded in —, the school is one of the first batch of independent colleges with distinctive school-running characteristics confirmed by the Ministry of Education in —. After 20 years of construction and development, the school was successfully converted from an independent college to an independent undergraduate level private general higher education school approved by the Ministry of Education in February —. It is one of the first two universities in Yunnan Province to be successfully transferred with strength. . In the "— Ranking of Chinese Private Colleges and Universities of Shanghai Science and Technology", our school ranked 57th, ranking first among similar colleges in Yunnan Province, and ranked among the top private colleges in China.
