The school actively promotes international exchanges and cooperation. As a member unit of the Agricultural Technology Exchange and Training Base of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, it adheres to the principle of "going out" and "bringing in" for two-way communication, undertakes the training tasks for government officials and technical personnel of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries by the Ministry of Commerce, conducts the "Thousand People Program" training project for agriculture in Pakistan in China, and recruits and trains over 130 students from countries such as Kazakhstan and Russia. It implements professional education cooperation projects, establishes the "Guinea Water Conservancy College" and the "Modern Agriculture College of Gulyistan National University"; builds platforms, expands cooperation, and establishes the "Modern Agricultural Technology Training Center of Kazakhstan", the "Modern Agricultural Innovation Technology Demonstration Base of Uzbekistan", and the "China-Kyrgyzstan Modern Agricultural Technology Training Center", jointly cultivating international agricultural and water conservancy technical talents.
