Founded in —, Wuchang University of Technology is a full-time undergraduate university with coordinated development of science, engineering, management, economics, literature, art, law, medicine and other disciplines. The university is located in "Wuhan • China Optics Valley", covering an area of — square meters, with a building area of — square meters. It is located at the foot of the beautiful Menan Mountain, surrounded by Tangxun Lake, the largest urban lake in Asia, on three sides. The European-style buildings are hidden in the green mountains and rivers, and the picturesque scenery is one of the top ten campuses with beautiful lake scenery in China.
The university has 13 universitys, including the university of Artificial Intelligence, the university of Intelligent Construction, the university of Life Science, the university of Health and Nursing, the university of Business, the university of Grammar, the university of Art and Design, the university of Film and Television Media, the university of Marxism, the university of General Quality Education, the university of International Education, the university of Modern Industry, and the university of Continuing Education, offering 56 primary and junior specialties. I. Educational conditions
◆ Faculty strength. Adhering to the strategy of strengthening the university with talents, the university has a well-structured and high-quality faculty, and has formed a number of distinctive, influential and promising teaching and research teams in most subject areas. At present, there are 956 teachers and 241 doctors, among which 50.1% are teachers with senior professional title, 25.2% are teachers with doctor's degree, and 40.6% are teachers with dual professional and dual ability. There are 18 experts and more than 20 foreign experts and professors enjoying subsidies from The State Council.
Teaching, research and living facilities. Each college has a teaching laboratory building. The average value of teaching and research equipment per student, the number of seats in multimedia classrooms and speech LABS, and the number of teaching computers all exceeded the "ministerial standards" issued by the Ministry of Education. Campus informatization ranks the leading level of similar universities in China.
There are 180 first-class professional laboratories with functions covering various disciplines. It has a large number of cutting-edge science and technology laboratories, such as industrial robot laboratory, VR technology laboratory, 3D printing laboratory, big data laboratory, network security laboratory, Internet of Things technology laboratory, UAV low altitude remote sensing laboratory, ion chromatography laboratory, biological information laboratory, studio, air crew training warehouse and so on. There are 203 stable bases for practice and training, including 2 provincial-level bases for practice and training, 1 provincial-level demonstration base for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship, and 1 Hubei Province service outsourcing talent training base.
