Yantai University of Science and Technology (Yantai University of Science and Technology) is a full-time general undergraduate university with the main focus on engineering, management and art and the coordinated development of multiple disciplines. Yantai University of Science and Technology has the right to grant bachelor's degrees and graduate degrees recognized by the state. Founded in —, the University was formerly known as Quancheng College of Jinan University. In —, it was renamed Yantai Institute of Science and Technology.

The University is located in Penglai, Shandong Province, a famous historical and cultural city and a national excellent tourist city, which enjoys the reputation of "Fairyland on Earth". Facing the sea, the university has beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. The campus covers an area of — mu, with a construction area of about — square meters. It has a digital library with a collection of nearly 1.22 million volumes, a standard plastic track and field, a gymnasium, an international academic lecture hall and other student activity places, and more than 150 experimental and training rooms such as a convergence media center. Built the core 100G interconnection, building 40G interconnection, 10GB to classroom, gigabit to desktop all-optical campus network, to achieve full coverage of wireless network campus.
