Wuchang Institute of Technology, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a full-time private undergraduate higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education. It has been selected as a leading university in the "Hubei Province — Plan."
In July —, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education officially approved Wuhan Industrial College to introduce social participation to jointly establish the School of Business at Wuhan Industrial College. In February —, the Ministry of Education officially recognized the School of Business at Wuhan Industrial College as an independent provincial college. In March —, the School of Business at Wuhan Industrial College was converted into Wuchang Institute of Technology.
As of January —, the campus covers an area of — square meters, with buildings totaling — square meters. The library holds over 1.36 million print books and more than 3.22 million electronic books, with nearly 600 periodicals subscribed to. The institute comprises 10 schools offering 35 undergraduate programs. It has over — faculty and staff members and — full-time students enrolled.
