- To be eligible for a scholarship application, one must provide one of the following materials: (1) An average score of over 80 in the previous academic stage; (2) A good or above grade for the previous degree thesis; (3) An IELTS score of 6.5 or above (with no less than 5.5 in each component), a TOEFL score of 85 or above (with no less than 20 in each section), or a Duolingo English Test score of 105 or above; (4) For master's programme applicants, having published a work or article as the first author or corresponding author in officially issued journals in their home country or China; for doctoral programme applicants, having published a high-level academic paper as the first author or corresponding author in academic journals.
