About the university
Beijing College of Finance and Commerce is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the Beijing Municipal People's Government. It is a national model higher vocational college, a national university with typical experience in graduate employment, and a national advanced unit in vocational education. It is also a Capital Civilized Unit, a model campus for safety among Beijing universities, and a model digital campus among Beijing municipal universities.
The predecessor of the college was the Beijing Finance and Trade Cadre School. In —, it was restructured into the Beijing Institute of Finance and Trade Management. In —, with the approval of the Beijing Municipal People's Government, Beijing College of Finance and Commerce was established.
As of December —, the college has four campuses: the main campus, Dongcheng, Chaoyang, and Zhuozhou, with a total area of — square meters. It has 11 secondary colleges offering 29 higher vocational programs, with more than — full-time students and 620 faculty members.
