Peking University Founder Technology College was founded in —. Approved by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, it is a full-time private ordinary higher vocational college registered with the Ministry of Education. Adhering to the school-running policy of "running the school in a standardized manner, running it with distinct characteristics, pursuing excellence, and achieving sustainable development", the college has set up the School of Artificial Intelligence, the School of Health Management, the School of International Education, the School of Continuing Education, and the Department of Integrated Cultivation. It has formed a "Electronic Information + Grand Health" professional group with the characteristics of a software college, which takes artificial intelligence and converged media as the core, and nursing and elderly service management as the two wings. It is committed to cultivating professional and international talents with modern professional spirit and good professional skills needed by the new economy and new industries. The college has built a number of training bases supported by the central finance, such as the "Computer Application and Software Technology" training base, the "Digital Art Center", the "Mobile Application Development Training Base", the "Nursing Skills Training Center", and the "Communication and Triple Play" training base, as well as 36 on-campus training rooms and laboratories. It has cumulatively trained and delivered more than — professional talents to the society. It has successively been rated as a Beijing Municipal Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, one of the first pilot colleges for the connection of secondary and higher vocational education in Beijing, a pilot college for the Ministry of Education's 1+X certificate system, a vocational college with characteristic and high-level key majors and training bases in Beijing, and a national pilot construction unit for first-aid education in schools. The college attaches great importance to the construction of the teaching staff. Through the integration of industry and teaching as well as the rotation between schools and enterprises, it has established a people-oriented, professional and vocational double-qualified teaching team, with technical backbones from the front line of enterprises serving as professional leaders. Teachers have undertaken and participated in nearly 100 projects of the Ministry of Education, industry guidance committees, and Beijing Municipality. They have developed 162 courses with independent intellectual property rights, and many excellent courses have been adopted by many similar colleges and universities across the country. Under the leadership of excellent teachers, students have achieved outstanding results in various competitions, winning more than 40 national awards, including 6 first prizes and 9 second prizes in the National Vocational College Skills Competition. Its 360 Network Security Engineer College has been rated as a Beijing Municipal Vocational College Characteristic and High-Level Training Base by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, and its nursing major has been rated as a Beijing Municipal Vocational College Characteristic and High-Level Key Major.
