About the university

Yichun College is located in Yichun, Jiangxi Province, the central city of western Ganxi. Yichun has been known since ancient times as "the beautiful place in the south of the Yangtze River and a prosperous country for cultural relics". It is one of the first national pilot ecological cities, a national garden city, a national model greening city, an excellent tourist city in China and a national sanitary city. Yichun has a beautiful scenery and convenient transportation, with the Shanghai-Rui Expressway, the Hang-Chang High Speed Railway and the Zhejiang-Gan Railway passing through the city, and the Mingyue Mountain Civil Airport being accessible in all directions.

Yichun College was formerly known as Yichun University in —, and in January —, the former Yichun Normal College, Yichun Medical College, Yichun Agricultural College and Yichun City Staff Amateur University were merged and upgraded to a full-time public undergraduate institution with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
