Hebei Academy of Fine Arts was established in —. It is a full-time undergraduate art college that focuses on arts disciplines and emphasises the development of design disciplines. It is one of the nine independent art academies in China. The campus covers — acres, with a total building area of — square metres, a library collection of 1.64 million books, and — undergraduate and postgraduate students. The academy adheres to an open approach to education and actively engages in international exchange and cooperation. It has established long-term cooperative relationships in scientific research, academic exchange, teacher development, and student training with over 100 universities in more than 40 countries, including Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea, and Italy. The academy continually optimises the campus environment for education and enhances campus cultural quality. The campus is beautifully landscaped, blending Chinese and Western architectural styles, featuring both a European water town and a Jiangnan water village, making it an ideal place for students to study, create, and appreciate art. The northern area predominantly features traditional Chinese architecture, reflecting the poetic charm of classical gardens, while the southern area primarily showcases European architecture, fully displaying the grandeur of Western buildings.
