About the university
Guangdong Polytechnic of Science and Trade, founded in —, is a higher polytechnic organized by the provincial government. Its predecessor was Guangdong Agricultural Management Cadre polytechnic, known as "the cradle of Guangdong Agricultural Science and Technology and management cadres". The polytechnic has three campuses in the Provincial Vocational Education City (Qingyuan), Guangzhou Baiyun and Guangzhou Tianhe.
