Zunyi Medical University, founded in —, is the first medical undergraduate university founded by the Communist Party of China after the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. It used to be named as Kwandong Medical university, Dalian University Medical university and Dalian Medical university. In —, in order to support the construction of "Third line", the university moved to Zunyi City, Guizhou Province and was renamed Zunyi Medical university. In —, it was renamed Zunyi Medical University.
