About the university
Guangxi International Business Vocational College was founded in —, and its predecessor was Guangxi Foreign Trade Part-work and Part-study School. It was named Guangxi Foreign Trade School in —, and the school site was set at No. 30, Mingxiu West Road, Nanning. In —, it was renamed Guangxi School of Foreign Economics and Trade and moved to No. 168, University East Road, Nanning City in —. In —, the college was upgraded to a higher vocational college and changed its name to Guangxi International Business Vocational and Technical College.
